PROGRAMME AIMS AND FEATURES 

Students are required to master systematically the basic theory and the basic skill of banking and have the knowledge framework of finance and economics. Furthermore, they are required to put theory into practice and improve their ability to analyze and solve the problems. Also, skilled mastery of a foreign language and practiced application of electronic computer is necessary.

MAJOR COURSE

Curriculum arrangements include four parts. The first part is skill education. The second are public courses of the college. The third part are basic courses in economy administration ,which comprise, micro-economics, macroeconomics ,theory of statistics, theory of management, theory of accounting, calculus, linearity algebra, probability and mathematical statistics. The fourth part are some required and elective courses of this major. The required courses mainly include money and banking, finance, bank accounting, security investment, international finance, central bank and so on. And the elective courses are set up according to different directions including money and banking, security and financial engineering and insurance.

CAREER PROSPECTS

Graduates may be employed by the financial institutions such as bank, stock exchange, stockjobber, futures exchange, fund Management Company, insurance agent, trust company and leasehold company, or the financing department of the enterprise, or the media institution undertaking some interrelated task. Also they may choose to study further to get master degree of this specialty or the interrelated specialty.
