At the afternoon of September 3, all of our faculty members convened together and hosted a new forum regarding executive deputy secretary of Party Committee. Vice President as well as Vice Minister Lu Tongan chaired the meeting, teaching and research minister Fan Zhiquan and the Party representatives are all attended, 31 new faculty members attended the meeting as well.

Firstly, Vice President Lu warmly welcome the accession of new faculty members, and feel truly happy about nearly half of new faculty are Party Members. Vice President Lu likes to briefly introduce the basic party-building work of the Institute as well as the current university party-going "In-depth study and practice the scientific outlook on development rectification program". Vice President Lu points out that the institute is working hard to strengthen the building of party leadership, which would be through the preparation of "Regulations on the Party Work " as well as other rules and regulations for university standardization and institutionalization of party-building work. Our university will also undertake to create excellent Party sub-branch, select outstanding branch party workers, organize party activities, and establish college party schools in order to effectively promote the general faculty and students to actively strive to improve their own political and ideological consciousness.

At the meeting, Vice President Lu encourages all new faculty members that they must constantly remind themselves as a Chinese Communists in their work and life. They should play an exemplary role in maintaining good mental outlook, professional unity, teaching and educating, and finally, to built our university into the first-class universities of the party. Last but not least, Vice President Lu answered faculty members¡¯ questions on the new branch of life, ways to pay membership dues and other issues. Working Party and director Yi qiang also give a detailed description to faculty members of the new organizational relationships.

The new faculty members feel strong cohesion and solidarity for the university party community and will continue in-depth study by this forum. Meanwhile, this is also a good start point to practice the scientific outlook on development and create a good atmosphere for the idea.
