Professor KUJINGHUIZI comes from Musashino University department of literature. She gave us a special speech about Business Japanese at the third building in March, 24th. It is in order to carry out practical talents of Japanese. What¡¯s more, it will bring us a chance in touch with Business Japanese earlier and more comprehensive.
Professor KUJINGHUIZI was graduated from the Japan¡¯s Aoyama Gakuin University Department of English and American Literature major. She once committed to research for Japanese language education in the institute of Japan¡¯s national so that she was accumulated rich experience. Now, she is a professor in the Musashino University department of literature. Her research areas are including Japanese education, Japanese linguistics and cross-cultural education.
At the beginning of speech, professor was raising the qualities of Business Japanese talent. It¡¯s combining with company request of Business Japanese talents. First, we must master basic ability of communicating with different people in the different place. We can go through ¡°no face-to-face¡± ways such as phone call or e-mails and writing skills of business instruments to communicate. It¡¯s the basic skills. She was emphasizing that language skill is one of the basic skills in the trade and economic cooperation all along. Second, we are master culture of Business Japanese without fail. She was point that our existing the basic skills are not enough. If we want to does that respond freedom of the impact of different cultures, we must learn about cultures of Japan¡¯s enterprise in deep. Final, professor KUJINGHUIZI was wishes us that we could seize the opportunity and take a right attitude to the failures and summary rich experience to bring up the ability of solving.
In the speech, she gave example ¡°changes in first-person¡± and ¡°change of give and accept verb¡± in Japanese for us to explain the importance of understanding Japan¡¯ cultures in learn of Japanese. She said that usually change the first-person according to the each other¡¯s identity in the daily life. Because Japan¡¯ cultures is not in favor of self-centered. At the other hand, they usually consider starting point of each other. After while she raised that gave us the example of ¡°change of give and accept verb¡± so as to stress own benefits which are comes from other side. She stressed again and again that this isshows any language existence is not an isolated. It¡¯s closely related to their cultures.
All students in the speech were feeling very ralexed. This is due most partly to the professor is good at animate surrounding feeling overall. In addition, everybody were listening carefully and writing down main points from time to time. Students was pointed, they are understand that we must learn about Japanese cultures in deep when we are learning Business Japanese by the speech. This is a source of inspiration to learn Japanese in system and bring up the quality of Business Japanese talents in the future.
