PROGRAMME AIMS AND FEATURES

The programme is an interdisciplinary programme in international business and global management.  The aim of the programme is to enable students to further develop their global perspectives gained from their academic studies by exposing them to a real-world business environment in which they can apply what they have learned in class to actual business practices.  With a substantial input including Management study, Logistics,Information and Technology knowledge, this programme aims at educating a group of bright students to become future business leaders with global perspectives, equipped with the logistics knowledge and skills to plan, manage, and effectively deal confidently with logistics issues in a global business environment.

CAREER PROSPECTS


Business management graduates may assume roles in the field such as logistics company,,manufacturing enterprise, , and specifically engage in designing, managing logistics system in public sectors. Or teach, research logistics-involving work in colleges and universities, as well as apply for postgraduate studies.


CREDITS SYSTEM


There will be four modules: skill cultivation module, general education module, business core module, business management orientation module. 154 credits have to be obtained to award degree.


For skill cultivation module, 43 credits are required: 27 credits from compulsory courses, 6 credits from elective courses, 10 credits from work placement.


For general education module, 30 credits are required: 16 credits from compulsory courses, 14 credits from elective courses.


For business core module, 48 credits are required: 32 credits from compulsory courses, 16 credits from elective courses.


For business management orientation module, 33 credits are required: 15 credits from compulsory courses, 18 credits from elective courses.
